Berry Jam

"Making fruit jam is not as hard as you think it is. You just need the fruit, a good amount of sugar, sometimes lemon zest and juice."

Makes 2  - 250ml jars

Prep time: 1 hour

Difficulty: Medium


3 cups of strawberries

3 cups of blueberries

2 cups of Gavia Natural Sweetener

3/4 cups of lemon juice

2 tsp of vanilla paste

zest of one lemon


Put all the ingredients into a pot over low fire and keep on stirring until the consistency you like and when they look like they are nicely gelled together.


Store it in clean mason jars and put it in the fridge once cooled. Unopened jar last for up to 2 months. Once opened, complete it in 2 weeks.
