Sambal Prawns, Eggs & Petai

"The other day when I met up with my baby cousin @monnopollie, she gave me a bottle of Stavia to try and incorporate in my cooking/baking. Today cook sambal using the Stevia....yummmm!!! A very good replacement for sugar"

Prep time: 1 hour

Difficulty: Easy


150g Petai, halved and remove core, soaked in water
500g Large-sized Prawns, deshell and devein
5 Hard Boil Eggs
100ml Assam Juice & 150ml of Water
80ml Vegetable Oil
2 tbsp Gavia Natural Sweetener
Salt to taste

Chili paste:
5 cloves Garlic
10 Shallots
40g Dried Chili, soaked and drained
2 tbsp Balachan


Blend all the ingredients for the chili paste in a food processor.


Add in 1 tbsp of vegetable oil at a time to smoothen the paste.


In a wok heated it up with oil, add in blended chili paste and stir fry till fragrant.


 Drizzle in assam juice mixture.


Season with salt and Gavia Natural Sweetener and mix well.


Stir in the petai and simmer for about 5 minutes.


Add in prawns and mix well.


Add in boiled eggs and allow everything to simmer until its cooked.
